If I'm going to get something, I usually get it in spades - luck (both kinds), children, clutter, dirty laundry, bright ideas, daft ideas...

48/365 First bike ride of the year
It was a beautiful day. Possibly my favourite kind of day - cool and bright. So Boy Two and I decided to get our bikes out for the first time this year.
Days like this make me wish I had a bike! I swear I'll get one after this next move.

Do it. I was so much not a cyclist until my mother (at 70) traded up and gave me her old bike. Now I love it.
